Mine Charter

Mackay is the gateway to the mining area of the Bowen Basin which is located in the hinterland areas to the west of Mackay.

Flyon offer charter services to many mining companies operating within the Bowen Basin.

We have been tasked with both the transfer of mine and support staff between Mackay and several of the mines located in the region.

Charter services can operate to/from your designated area or via Moranbah airport.

During the recent severe weather event of Cyclone Debbie Flyon were tasked with the movement of people and spares which enabled the repair of mine and rail infrastructure.

Flyon are aware that the impact of mine and rail closure has a negative impact on the operations of the port which has a flow on affect to our marine pilot transfer business.

Flyon are pro-active in ensuring that aerial support can be provided at short notice.
